![]() Yang uploaded the trailer for the slick hack-and-slasher, which seems influenced by the Devil May Cry and Bayonetta series (this, I am down with) while also factoring in RPG elements, to YouTube on July the 30th and it's already received over half a million views and many messages of support. ![]() This may disappoint you but I can't tell a lie that the game will come out in another two years." "I really haven't expected, there are so many people like it which makes me hesitate to do as I planned. "I has (sic) been working on it in full time for two years and feed myself by doing freelance things, and actually my plan was to release the trailer as the end of fulltime development and find a fulltime job then continue it in part time with a really slow speed, maybe ten years or more. So who am I to not believe in the words of people who have only had the same evidence to go on that I do, Facebook posts from the designer in question, one Bing Yang of Seoul, that outline his commitment to the project, thus far. Plus, he's really young. The way the rest of the internet tells it: yes, it is. Plus the guy is already an indy dev, I think. The trailer has ALMOST A MILLION vews! So I guess that really put him on the radar. So maybe they'll give him a team or whatever. The good news is, Sony spokesmen have contacted the guy. Apparently he's doing good on his promise. The only other game like that that I know of is Novus Inceptio, made by, I believe, one Croatian dude who said that he'll try to create Skyrim. Making a complete, optimized game for it is virtually impossible. That and a few locations.īy himself he has created the perfect expression of what a person can do with Unreal Engine 4 - pretty shit. I doubt there is anything there except a rough combat system, two characters, 3 units and some very basic voiceover. ![]() He said that the game won't be finished for another 3-5 years, if that. And yet his inspiration was big enough to push on through. The only money he got to feed himself was from a few freelance jobs. The guy was working full time for 2 years just to create that trailer. Even the developer said that he isn't sure he wants to kickstart the game, since it's just way too raw and he's not sure he'll be able to finish it. The developer is a really cool guy and a huge fan of FFXV, just like us. Here's the trailer and it looks absolutely fucking incredibleĪs a matter of fact, the game looks so incredibly good that a lot of people started bashing FFXV itself! And I just love being a part of it and seeing how other followers try to express their love toward the game. People are waiting for Sep 30 as for the next coming of Christ. Millions around the world are so incredibly hyped about the game. Just goes to show how much of an incredible movement FFXV has become. So this Korean guy - Yang Bing - saw the '13 trailers of FFXV and got so incredibly inspired by the beauty of the world, the clean style, the active combat and the whole experience, that he actually decided to try and create his own Triple-A-Quality game. This might not be exactly about FFXV as a game, but it seems not to break any of the subreddit rules, and it's still tied to FFXV as an experience, so I decided to spread the word. First of all, sorry if I shouldn't post this here.
